I'm feeling cryptic today, a fine time for a dose of Tao...
Fame or integrity: which is more important?
Money or happiness: which is more valuable?
Success or failure: which is more destructive?
If you look to others for fulfillment,
you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money,
you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize that nothing is lacking,
the whole world belongs to you!
--Lao Tzu
When you reach the knowing, usually by tough experiences, that you have everything you need within you and that you are already truly a master at what you do, then you will be able to make all you need appear in your life, too.
If this is too cryptic, think of a time in your life when you utterly gave up or thought you had nothing, but then realized you had exactly what you needed all along. Everything can be found even in nothing. Don't give up -- keep showing up, hold your faith, and your dreams will come true. ;)
